My Passion

In a nutshell, I want to help other people feel capable, stronger, and more confident in the body they’ve been given. I believe this is a process, or even better, a JOURNEY. It takes time and hard work.

I want to help other people take the necessary steps to make their life the healthiest it can be. Small steps, overtime lead to big changes – in the body and mind. Whether it is simply learning how to do and perform basic movement in the gym or at home, or it’s learning how to be more mindful about quality and quantity of food, I believe we can all use some guidance along the way.

The gym can be a scary, intimidating place. And sometimes eating healthy may seem impossible. But I believe that anyone can do it with the right guidance and accountability. I want others to see that overcoming fear and taking the necessary steps to make their life better is all worth it!

I am so thankful for the experiences I’ve had and the people I’ve been able to help. There aren’t too many things that make me as fulfilled than getting to help someone take steps to make their life healthier and happier.

Training

If you are seeking 1 ON 1 training in a CrossFit gym, this plan is for you. Programing is focused on your specific goals (example: does not have to include barbell training, can be sport focused, bootcamp style, etc). Because I believe that nutrition should be the base of any training program, this also includes a little bit of nutrition assistance. This looks different for everyone. It could include anything as simple as introducing healthy habits overtime, to actually tracking macronutrients and calories. This includes one-two workouts to do at home throughout the week, as well as weekly check in’s.

Note: People usually aim for 2-3 sessions/week.

At Home

On Your Own

This is personalized fitness plan based on your specific goals, and the extent of workout equipment you currently have access to. Workouts can be done at home, or your gym of choice.This includes twice a week check in’s, and you are free to ask questions as needed.

Nutrition

Accountability

Nutrition Accountability looks different for everyone! There is no “one size fits all” diet or lifestyle plan, so this is focused on your goals, and can be as simple as introducing healthy habits overtime and focusing on quality of foods. It can also be as complex and personal as you need it to be, focused on weighing and measuring of food, and tracking macronutrients and calories. This includes using MyFitnessPal (or another tracking app), and focuses on a personalized number of calories and macronutrients (carbohydrates, fats, protein) to eat daily.

This also includes twice a week check-in’s.

Total

Package

This is a total health/lifestyle transformation from home, or at your gym of choice (on your own). This includes programming at home (so everything listed in the “At Home/On Your Own Programming”) as well as specific nutrition accountability. This looks different for everyone, but usually includes some sort of tracking, weighing, and measuring of food, as well as eating the right quality of foods (think whole, simple ingredient foods and lean protein sources). There is no “one size fits all,” so it’s tailored to you. You will have me day to day to make sure you are following a consistent plan.

This includes three times a week check ins, with any questions you may have along the way.

Programing

This is a program for the athlete who wants to compete.

Whether you just have some holes in your training, or you are training for your first competition, or you want to eventually qualify for a larger event, this customized plan/programing will attack your weaknesses. Whether you want to improve your conditioning, or you need help with your skills, or you need a plan to build strength, or all of the above, I would love to help!

This program includes an initial assessment to establish your goals, as well as nail down weaknesses. It includes weekly check ins and accountability to monitor progress. This is to be implemented on top of your regular class programing, and shouldn’t take the place of that.

Starting At: $60 for 4 weeks of training

For the past 2 years I have had the privilege to be a part of CrossFit Electric City. My journey started one cold February morning alongside my mom, three sisters and a couple friends as we embarked towards learning from the world’s greatest personal trainer, Alison Stall. Honestly, I never would have thought the day would come where I would do CrossFit, let alone enjoy it. Much to my surprise, it was such a joy to spend a few hours a week building a solid foundation from Alison. I was encouraged from day one to do my best and even if I fail to try and try again. Slowly, since that time I have seen my body change and become stronger than ever before. I have a long ways to go but I know that I'm on the path that will enable me to reach my goals.

My aim is to be the healthiest and strongest woman I can be and by the grace of God, CrossFit, and the encouragement of Alison Stall I know I will achieve it.

Before working with Alison I was floundering with committing to exercise post knee surgery.  I tried to go back to distance running and CrossFit off and on for several months, but could not maintain the motivation, and ultimately stopped trying altogether and did nothing for about a year.  At the end of that year I was miserable with myself on every level and decided to try to start back to CrossFit, but because I was so overweight and felt terrible about myself I lacked the confidence to attend regularly and complete even the scaled workouts. Working with Alison has given me back my confidence.

She seems to be completely in tune with my pacing, progressing workouts so seamlessly I am consistently surprised with how much my endurance and strength have improved on almost a weekly basis.  I could not be happier with my results so far, nor more committed to a healthier lifestyle with the help of Alison.
