So, this is pretty cool. My friend Jerry made me an official website.
About a month ago, he told me that I needed a better website for my blog (duh Jerry). He said it should be chasingstall.com, and I was a little hesitant because this whole blogging thing is already weird enough, and having my own website is even weirder. But, because he’s a generous, kind friend, he told me that he actually went ahead and bought the rights to chasingstall.com for me. (I guess alisonstall.net was lame or not catchy enough). For the record, “.com” was already taken, so I had to do “.net.” It was actually taken by me, but I forgot the password to it, and it wouldn’t log me in, so I had to go with “.net” And that my friends is how “alisonstall.net” came about. But it’s time to move on to bigger and better things.
So, thanks to Jerry (aka lil Yerri) I now have my own website, and check out how great it looks. It still has a few little things to fix on my end, like pictures and an updated “about me,” but it’s a start, and I have like 4 posts that have been ready to go out for about a week now, but needed to wait until this was switched over. So, I think they say, “There’s no time like the present.” Or something like that, I dunno.
Jerry is good at what he does. So, get ready. I’m really excited bout these changes, and I’m thankful for friends like Jerry.
Besides designing websites, t shirts, and being an IT guru, lil Yerri loves to play Spikeball. He loves being a rule follower, and is pretty adamant about following the rules of Spikeball – which actually gets on my nerves because I’m pretty laid back about it. The official Spikeball people were set up as a vendor at Regionals and lil Yerri was so excited! I think he’s now on the official rules committee. He just bought a red mini coop, but he parks it on the top deck at the gym so no one (aka Shawn) will mess with it.
Here are a couple of old pictures of us playing Spikeball. Jerry is the one in the red. He’s from Puerto Rico. Sometimes people get it confused and assume he’s from Mexico or Honduras, but Jerry is cool about it.
Jerry is also on a mission to squat 500 lb. That’s almost double what I can back squat, and he’s a little man. If you’ve ever been to the Nutcracker around Christmas time in Greenville, he is one of the stars of the show! He has a pretty great family. His wife, Melissa is great. I dunno how she puts up with all his rules. Everyone needs a friend like Lil Yerri. THANK YOU FOR THIS!!!!!!
Y’all check back soon for a lot of great stuff on here, with a little help from my friends 🙂
If you need a website or shirt, or anything Lil Yerri is your man.
